Project Manager, Brussels, Belgium

My client is a leading developer within the onshore and offshore wind markets, looking for a talented project manager to join their projects team. They have a strong client base and a global reach, offering an exciting chance to be part of a dynamic, global, and growing team.

Position Overview:

The project manager will need to deliver top level consultancy services on an international to my clients customers, studying the technical and economical feasibility of wind projects on a global basis.    

Responsibilities:-

• ·         Provide guidance to project developers throughout the project, from conception to design and operations
• ·         Study of the technical and economical feasibility of wind energy projects worldwide
• ·         Provide detailed simulation and analysis of wind farm layouts
• ·         Provide detailed resource assessment using advanced modelling techniques
• ·         Undertake risk reduction and  quality assurance throughout the entirety of the project
• ·         Perform contract negotiations and reviews
• ·         Perform due-diligence work and technical advisory tasks  

Education:-

• ·         Must have a strong academic background with a relevant degree in mechanical, electrical or civil engineering

Core Requirements:-

• ·         A strong background working in the on/offshore energy market with experience in wind projects
• ·         Fluency in either Dutch or French is essential
• ·         3+ years of extensive project management experience
• ·         Experience of managing both external and internal stakeholders
• ·         A good level of commercial awareness within the industry
• ·         A strong background working in the wind energy market with experience in wind projects
• ·         A broad understanding of the commercial renewable energy markets

General Requirements:-

• A good understanding of other sectors of the renewable industry and their environmental impact
• A keen interest in the offshore wind market and a desire to see it progress and be part of its development in the UK
