Project Manager - Civil Construction / Environmental Remediation
Location: San Jose, CA
Salary: $80,000 - $110,000
We are seeking a Senior Construction Manager / Civil Engineer to oversee the project management / estimating of a portfolio of heavy civil infrastructure / environmental restoration projects throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.
The ideal individual would have at least 7+ years experience in the management of civil construction / environmental remediation projects ranging from highways, bridges, underground utilities to pond/lakes, wastewater treatment facilities and environmentally contaminated remediation projects.
Candidates must have strong understanding of civil and environmental construction practices to include estimating, onsite supervision, management of documentation (RFI’s, change orders, etc), manpower / material budgeting, and bid preparation for projects. The construction manager will oversee all aspects of the project from initial bid through project closeout. Candidates must have a strong understanding of environmental construction practices involving wetlands, endangered species and environmental remediation.
Requires a Degree in civil engineering, construction management or related discipline. Registration as a California EIT or PE is a plus to consideration. Must have excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
