Project Manager - Christchurch

Reporting to the Project Delivery Manager, this is a fantastic opportunity to demonstrate your proven project management skills on assigned hydro related projects, in a busy, varied and exciting industry. 

You'll be responsible for providing high quality, effective management covering all facets of each project, including time, cost and quality as well as staff, health and safety, environment and reporting. This is a great chance to lead medium to large projects involving existing hydro power stations and assets where your expertise will enhance the optimisation of our existing plant. An understanding of contract management would be an advantageous skill to have.

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate considerable experience and success in complex multi disciplinary engineering projects where your excellent communication skills and relationship capabilities will add value. While a relevant tertiary qualification is essential your ability to see the big picture and adapt to changing priorities will set you apart from the rest.

Our hydro assets are based in New Zealand's most beautiful locations.  You'll need the ability to relocate with the projects as you'll need to be onsite to manage them effectively.  Plenty of notice will be provided before each move along with full relocation costs to ensure you settle into each location quickly.
