Project Lawyer, Wind & Solar Development, London, £60-70k

This leading business in the renewable energy sector currently develops and operates large scale solar and wind projects. They create renewable sources of energy to meet the increasing demand for clean electricity and to address the ever increasing challenges of global warming.

Through partnerships various parties, this business develops projects that are both profitable and sustainable. They are currently pursuing projects in Europe, North America, and South America

Position Overview:

You will be responsible for providing non-contentious  legal support for projects that are developed in a variety of locations including Europe and the USA.

Responsibilities:-

• ·         Drafting of contracts
• Negotiation and risk assessment covering the full life cycle of projects
• ·         Provide legal support to negotiations and transactions in respect of acquisitions

Education:-

• ·         Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Law

Core Requirements:-

• Minimum 4 years PQE

• Strong understanding of FIDEC contracts
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills

General Requirements:-

• Ability to travel

• ·         Ability to communicate across all levels of an organisation
• ·         Ability to work under deadline pressure and deliver high quality results
• ·         Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
