My client is amongst the leading renewable energy providers globally, and have a very strong business plan and balance sheet. They a specialize in the manufacturing of crystalline silicon modules and are also a leading residential, commercial and utility-scale solar PV developer with a strong market presence in Europe, USA and the Asia-Pacific regions. As they develop and buy projects are looking to add to their project finance team and as such are recruiting a senior project financer to join their team in Frankfurt.
Core Criteria:
My client is seeking an experienced individual who will be responsible for the successful financing of German and international
projects in solar and wind energy.
Responsibilities:-
- · Origination of financial and corporate equity sponsors for solar PV power plants
- · Identifying financing banks, preparing information memorandum, negotiation with banks & equity investors
- · Leading external agencies(valuators, lawyers, tax advisors etc)
- · Structuring and negotiation of project finance loan documentation and share purchase agreements
- · Cash flow modeling
- · Establishing investment structure for funds (legal, financial etc.)
- · Project development, acquisition strategy and external advisors coordination
- · Overseeing the work of the project team for the finalization of key project contracts to achieve financial close
- · Oversee the whole project cycle from origination to execution of solar PV power plant project financing
- · Responsible for financial advisory, negotiation of finance and project documentation
- · Equity raising and project sale negotiations
- · Negotiation of all the project contracts (EPC, O&M, land lease, etc)
- · Detailed risk analysis for each project
- · Identifying potential buyers of power plants
Education:-
- · Must have strong finance background (Master degree in Finance is preferred)
Core Requirements:-
- At Least 5 years experience in project financing
- Strong knowledge of project finance, including structuring and negotiation of financings
- · Hands-on approach on existing investments
- · International business development and origination
- · Critical assessment and due diligence of investment opportunities

Key Skills:
Renewable energy, strong finance background (Master degree in Finance is preferred), large-scale PV and Wind projects, team leadership and a good experience in project financing.
