Project Finance Analyst, Wind & Solar Development, South West, UK

This leading business in the renewable energy sector currently develops and operates large scale wind projects throughout the UK and USA. They create renewable sources of energy to meet the increasing demand for clean electricity and to address the increasing challenges of global warming.

Through partnerships various parties, this business develops projects that are profitable and sustainable. They are currently pursuing projects in North America and the UK.

Position Overview:

You will be responsible for improving financial and project analysis with financial modelling and project management skills. This position has input into the strategic growth of the business and is a key role in order for the business to achieve 3-5 year growth targets.

Responsibilities:-

• Working with Project Managers and Developers to provide financial reviews of projects in the UK and North America.
• Support the Finance Director and senior management team with project financing.
• Assisting in contract negotiations

Education:-

• ·         Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in relevant subject or equivalent experience

Core Requirements:-

• An awareness of renewable energy policy

• Knowledge of project finance
• Evaluate and control existing financial models

General Requirements:-

• Ability to travel

• ·         Ability to communicate across all levels of an organisation
• ·         Ability to work under deadline pressure and deliver high quality results
• ·         Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
