With operations covering Capital Works, Treatment, Environment and Renewable Resources, our client is a major service provider in the Western Suburbs of Melbourne.  Customers include commercial, industrial, sporting, educational organisations and property developers who value improved water utilisation through recycling.

Due to population growth and an increased awareness of the need for water services, our client seeks suitably qualified Project Engineers and Project Managers with a background in water projects.

Reporting to the Manager of Capital Works, you will be required to:

•    Project manage various water projects to time and budget
•    Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
•    Assess detailed designs against a set criteria
•    Manage tenders
•    Provide leadership to junior engineers

We are seeking proactive Engineers who will be responsible for the implementation, ongoing management and review of water projects. Responsible for a high performing multi-disciplinary team you will provide strong leadership and professional guidance to deliver challenging and high profile projects.

Ideally you will possess well developed project management and negotiation skills to successfully manage requirements of the internal and external stakeholders during the project development and implementation activities. A tertiary qualification in civil or environmental engineering/science is essential. Strong interpersonal skills are essential as is the ability to communicate effectively to people across all levels.
