Project engineer (m/f) Electrical & SCADA Offshore

The objective of the position as a project engineer is to ensure all technical aspects of the electrical grid connection, commissioning of the SCADA and the wind farm communication port. 

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the implication of the tasks for grid connection and remote monitoring according of the project documentation (e.g. contracts and systems, grid connections conditions, customer specifications)
  • Detail planning and accompanied of the grid connecting implementation
  • Listing of tender documents for the grid connection implementation
  • Contact person in dealing with our suppliers
  • Possibly adoption of site management and quality assurance
  • Monitoring and inspection of the responsible tasks
  • Accompaniment the commissioning of the wind parks
  • Ensuring the required final documentation
  • Adaptation of standards from new requirements

Profile:

  • Degree in Electrical or similar education/ working experience
  • Extensive knowledge in grid connection of energy generation storages or similar experience in the electrical sector
  • Experience in grid connection and remote monitoring of wind turbines
  • Fluent command of English, both written and spoken and preferable another language
  • Competences and experiences in the implementation of projects
  • Reliability, self dependent and the ability to assume responsibility
  • High degree of flexibility, loyalty and team spirit
  • Appreciation of the dynamic nature of the offshore wind power market and the associated changes that may be required at a corporate level
  • Ability to work at heights and offshore (extended level G 41)
  • Willingness to travel
