Project Engineer, Mexico DF

My client is a leading global top 5 utility company. The company has presence across 16 countries in Europe, North and South America, they specialize in wind, solar, hydro and geothermal power and they have a total capacity of circa 7,000MW installed

Position Overview:nThis is an exciting opportunity to work within an already well established player in the market where you will gain extensive knowledge in a range of renewable energy technologies. You will also be responsible for the development of projects across Mexico and all South America so you will gain and will need to have a very strong knowledge of the hydro sector and the issues involved, design evaluation and in conducting feasibility studies.

Responsibilities: n- Manage activities of design for hydroelectric power plants including feasibility studies, due diligences, technical packages for bidding purposes, final design, detailed design and working plan stages.n- Manage of the overall documentation of the Project. Manage of the last version of the documentation.n- Manage the design plan of assigned projects

Education: n- Must be Educated to BSc or MSc in civil engineering. Other will consider if candidates have hydro construction experience.

Core Requirements: n- 4 years experience working as a project engineer in the construction of renewable energy projectsn- Engineering experience in hydroelectric power plantsn- Design experience in civil, electrical or electromechanical engineering. n- Knowledge of design tools, methodologies, machinery and equipments used in the hydro field.

General Requirements:n- Excellent communications skills n- Must have excellent (spoken, written and reading) English and Spanish skills n- Must be willing to relocate to Mexico DF.n- Good oral and written communications skills nKey skills: hydro, construction, civil, engineering, electrical, electromechanical, Mexico, South America, project engineer.
