Project Engineer. London, UK

My client is an independent company that provides  a varirty of services to assistwith the instalition and maintenace of cable systems within  offshore industry.

Position Overview:

Based out of the London office, the successful candidate will assist the Project Manager to ensure that work is completed within budget, on time and in accordance to the company’s requirements. You will have experience in supporting projects through the tendering phase as well as producing design drawings and using Auto CAD

Responsibilities:

• ·         Assist projects through the tendering phase
• ·         Prepare  installation and operation procedures
• ·         Support the project team in project execution
• ·         Evaluation of sub con tractor proposals
• ·         Working with the AutoCAD Engineer to assist in the production of storyboards

Education:

Must be educated to degree level or hold a relevant qualification in an engineering discipline.

Core Requirements:

• ·         Experience supporting projects through the tendering phase
• ·         Proficient user of AutoCAD
• ·         Offshore Survival and Offshore Medical certificates

General Requirements

• ·         Willingness to travel and  on occasion spend time offshore
• ·         As well as offshore experience, candidates must have worked in a similar office based role
• ·         Understanding of cable route design and offshore operations
• ·         Ability to work towards and meet strict deadlines

Key Skills

Offshore wind, Subsea cabling experience, Engineering degree, Ability to use AutoCAD, Experience supporting projects through the tendering phase.
