Project Engineer - Electrical - Wellington

We're looking for an Electrical Project Engineer to join the Renewable Development Delivery Team.  The role of this team is to support Meridian's positioning as a renewable energy company by delivering strategic growth projects.

You'll contribute to the execution of projects to ensure they are on time, budget and to specification.  You'll support the Project Manager in respect to design and build requirements in evaluating the scope and specifications for projects, establishing procurement logistics and quality assurance for the electrical installations.

Critical to project delivery, you'll manage the project electrical construction, develop commissioning plans and oversee the commissioning process.  And lastly, you'll be instrumental in formulating transition plans and assigning resources for the successful transition to the Markets and Production Business Unit.

Wellington will be your home base initially but each project will require a commitment to being at the project site for a period of time.
