We're looking for a dedicated Project Specialist to manage the day-to-day scheduling and routine reporting requirements of our one of our significant capital projects.

With a couple of years experience in project control and scheduling behind you, you'll provide full and complete information to the Project Manager ensuring the best decisions are made to keep the project on schedule and within budget. You'll also proactively seek opportunities in the project schedule to reduce project risk or add value.

Using your understanding of technical requirements, you'll proactively manage and translate detailed project plans into schedules to ensure project outcomes are delivered.  Your excellent interpersonal skills, especially your listening and influencing skills, will quickly see you build strong, effective and enduring relationships at all project levels

With a high level understanding of financial processes, contracts and technical requirements you'll oversee the allocation and management of project budget funds during project execution and ensure management have full information and are aware of potential cost related risks and variance.

With experience in the planning of multi-discipline projects you'll be knowledgeable in Microsoft Project and hold a tertiary qualification in engineering, quantity surveying or similar.  Ideally, you'll have worked in a multi-discipline engineering construction environment and have used Primavera P6 and have a Professional Project Management accreditation such as PMI.
