You will be responsible for robust engagement with existing and new European corporate and government members to accelerate their climate change leadership. You will also provide technical support on our Technology Acceleration programmes with a particular focus initially on Electric Vehicles and LED lighting. You will be expected to work closely with colleagues in London and internationally, including our International Director for Cities and Technology (based Toronto) and International Membership Director (based New York). Some travel within Europe and occasional travel internationally may be required. Engagement: • Further develop and effectively manage our membership programme in Europe as a platform for developing best practice and innovative thinking in the areas of low carbon policy and technology • Effective management of the resources required to run this area of work including junior staff, partnerships and budget • Participate in determining the direction of development of relationships with our key European members • Responsible for coordination of regular membership events, including obtaining sponsorship Project Support: • Lead and oversee leadership initiatives, studies and working groups that support the core activities of The Climate Group • Coordination and management of project teams, including management of project budgets • Working closely with the communications team to ensure appropriate publications are developed
