The Programme Department is at the frontline of Greenpeace’s work. They develop strategy and tactics that make our campaigns successful. Within the Programme Department our Campaigners investigate and expose environmental abuse, promoting environmentally responsible and socially just solutions and confronting those with the power to bring change. Some of our campaigns include Protecting the Antarctic, Defending the biodiversity of our Oceans and Promotion of sustainable energy strategies.
Greenpeace UK is currently looking for an experienced Assistant to provide effective administration and diary support for the Programme Leadership Team and other administration for the Programme Department as directed by the Programme Planning Coordinator.
You will manage the Programme Director’s diary, book travel, meetings and deal with his expenses. A fast paced role, you will keep track of his movements and develop productive relationships with his team, department staff and within the wider organisation.
You will coordinate the annual performance review meetings for Programme Department staff and support the Programme Planning Coordinator including note taking, support for away days and organisational projects.
You will also support the Deputy Programme Directors and the wider Department with special projects. RequirementsYou will need:
