The Program Support Officer will play a vital role in assisting and co-ordinating the activities of the MSC Scandinavian and Baltic Sea Regional team. The BSR team currently consists of eight staff, including two staff working from the Copenhagen Office and one staff based in Helsinki. The Program Support Officer is also responsible for the smooth and effective day-to-day running of general administrative services in the regional office and providing a high level of administrative and logistical support to local staff. The post's overriding aim is to provide support for the team and its interactions with the MSC’s diverse stakeholders helping to ensure overall programme effectiveness and credibility. Internally, it will require communication across the MSC at all levels – within the team, across other departments and regions. QualificationsThis is a busy and varied role, requiring an organised service-oriented support with good administration and communication skills and the ability to work in a team, as well as to take initiative using sound judgement.
