Description

World Wildlife Fund (WWF), the world’s leading conservation organization, seeks a Program Officer to work closely with the Director, Markets Strategy, and the SVP, Markets, on three exciting initiatives designed to accelerate the global impact of the WWF Markets team. The Program Officer is responsible for information management, planning, implementation and reporting. He/she will have the lead in developing tracking mechanisms for monitoring progress across the program areas, and developing documentation for the programs including reports, presentations and excel templates. The Program Officer is also responsible for assisting with all international collaboration across the WWF network.

A Bachelor’s degree and 2-5 years experience in a relevant field is required. An advanced degree is preferred. Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, assimilate large bodies of information, and identify next steps for action and delivery is a must. Strong organizational, project management, and analytical skills are essential. The ability to work independently, build solid relationships with internal and external partners, and exercise assertiveness is a must. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, flexibility, a solution-oriented approach and an ability to work in a timely manner with multiple and competing priorities are critical. Diplomacy and cultural sensitivity are essential. Experience internationally, working with other cultures, and a foreign language is a plus.
