Co-sponsored by the UNDP and UNIDO as well as the government of China, the International Network on Small Hydro Power (IN-SHP) was created in 1994 and had its headquarters - the International Centre on Small Hydro Power (IC-SHP) inaugurated in 1998. IC-SHP is located on the southwest bank of the beautiful West Lake, Hangzhou, China. Since the foundation in 1994, IC-SHP has developed a network of more than 330 members from over 70 countries all over the world. • Stay abreast of relevant knowledge in the field.
  • Establish and maintain the databases of relevant SHP statistics.
