Reporting to the Regional Director Americas, this exciting and demanding role will lead our Latin America team and build on the achievements of the past decade that have seen significant engagement from fisheries in Latin America. The post holder will be charged with developing MSC’s Latin America strategy, building and strengthening key relationships among the seafood harvest sector, processors, governments and the conservation community and ensuring the delivery of our core objectives for the Latin America sub-region. Enhancing partner satisfaction from their engagement in the program will be a core performance objective. As part of the MSC’s Corporate Strategy Group, the post holder will also be responsible for contributing to the delivery of the vision and mission of the MSC more broadly and to the collective management and strategic development of the organisation. An experienced leader and manager, you will lead and be responsible for outreach staff and consultants managing engagement with fisheries and other stakeholders throughout the Latin America, and have the confidence and stature to represent the MSC externally in a wide variety of contexts.
