Description

World Wildlife Fund (WWF), the world’s leading conservation organization, seeks a Program Associate for its Africa Program to support goals and objectives. The Program Associate will conduct research and analysis, organize information and materials, draft reports, proposals and presentations, and manage project administration and databases. S/He will manage administrative tasks for the program by performing a variety of standard and frequently complex administrative duties and responsibilities including: meeting planning, travel arrangements, and other general office duties, to ensure the smooth functioning of the program.

A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required. Two years of relevant experience, preferably environmental or conservation experience is also required. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and proficiency with Microsoft office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access). The ability to work independently with a geographically dispersed team is a must. Knowledge or experience in the Congo Basin Region is a plus.
