Description

World Wildlife Fund (WWF), the world’s leading conservation organization, seeks a Program Associate to support the goals and objectives of its Program Operations department. The Program Associate will manage information storage and dissemination for the unit, ensure reporting requirements and schedules are up to date and accessible to all Program Operations staff. S/He will provide confidential administrative support to the Vice President of Program Operations using extensive knowledge of WWF’s policies, organization, and a high level of technical skill. The position will manage administrative tasks for the program by performing a variety of standard and frequently complex administrative duties and responsibilities including: meeting planning, travel arrangements, and other general office duties, to ensure the smooth functioning of the program.

A Bachelor’s degree plus two years, or a minimum of four years relevant experience is required. Knowledge of grants management principles and familiarity with U.S. Government-funded projects is highly desirable. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and proficiency with Microsoft office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access).
