Product Group Business Analyst

SunRun’s Product team manages design, implementation, and deployment of SunRun's solar power service offerings with a specific focus on unit economics, competitive positioning and new channels. We are looking for a new team member who can support our activities with financial analysis, dive into our data to answer questions about our short and long-term position, and help the team export our information and decisions to other groups at SunRun.

Responsibilities

• Analyze sales, product and market financial data to evaluate SunRun product offering
• Evaluate pricing across markets, partners and price strategies. Analyze current and future price changes and financial structures
• Manage SunRun product data, maintain SunRun product outlooks for cross-functional use
• Prepare monthly and annual reports for Board and SunRun internal users
• Build and provide analytical tools to other SunRun departments
• Serve as a point of contact for other SunRun departments: support and enhance Sales, Project Finance, Accounting, Operations, Sales Operations
• Develop and document standing process flows, business requirements, proposed solutions, redesigned processes and procedures

Qualities and Experience

• 2-4 yrs experience in financial analysis or business strategy
• Strong business acumen
• Experience using real data to provide insights for solving business problems
• Experience with large, complex datasets and financial models
• Highly skilled in building and using Excel models
• Detail-oriented, high energy, team-oriented fast learner, excellent communicator
• Comfortable and effective working independently, working with teams, and delivering results to diverse groups
• Ability to execute and evaluate specific and complex processes
• Ability to multitask under uncertainty, working concurrently on long and short term projects
• Trustworthy with confidential information
