Description

My client is a leading global technologies firm with a focus on product development and packaging in the semiconductor space. They are currently looking to hire a product development engineer for a position in their Packing and Devices team. The role requires a high level of technical ability and carries a lot of responsibilities so they are looking for someone with a history of leadership and extensive experience in the semiconductor market. The role also requires expertise in device transmitters and microprocessors.

Responsibilities with include but not be restricted to:

  • 1st Silicon Debugging 
  • Definition of process experiment (split)
  • Device characterization, analysing test correlation, documenting  products  
  • Driving failure analysis to completion
  • Taking charge of yield variance control
  • You will be responsible for new product introduction and primary contact for mass production issues for Zero-IF (ZIF) RF receivers/transmitters/transceivers.
  • You will also be managing operations with baseband mixed signal receivers/CODEC, and highly programmable power management IC's developed by QCT.

Experience and qualifications:

  • 5-10 years experienced semiconductor engineer.
  • Extensive device experiences, especially with microprocessors.
  • Applied experience with statistical software packages.
  • Very good knowledge of electrical engineering concepts, digital and analogue circuit analysis techniques, statistical analysis fundamentals, and wafer fabrication fundamentals.
  • Outstanding communication, organisation and documentation skills
