Procurement Manager (Solar PV Industry). Southern Germany. €65k-€75k + Bonus

 My client  is a leading CSP/CPV power plant developer, with a strong market presence in Europe and the USA. They are currently looking to recruit a senior product manager. They seek an energetic, highly-organized individual with great communication skills to join their team. The procurement manager will oversee all Strategic and operative purchasing function. 

Core Criteria:
My client is seeking a senior procurement manager with a track record in equipment procurement in the solar PV projects business.

Responsibilities:-

• Establish purchasing development plan, including material purchasing, price control suppliers management
• Negotiating terms and closing deals to achieve optimal cost situation
• Secure the availability of materials and services for production globally
• Lead all purchasing activities for solar Photovoltaic(PV) business
• Develop and implement strategies to reduce costs and currency exposure while assuring required capacity
• Request bids from suppliers for scope outlined by technical staff
• Perform supplier management based on standard processes and procedures to identify the best suppliers and to secure an optimized supply chain
• Ensure all correct procures are followed and all regulations are met
• Responsible for inspection and forecast of the raw material price
• Creation and realization of worldwide supplier strategies in all purchasing segments
• Supplier negotiations and contract finalizations
• Photovoltaic world market analysis including permanent analysis of raw material market

Education:-

• Must have strong educational background

Core Requirements:-

• You will have at least 3-5 years experience, with an excellent track record
• Proven success in strategic and operation roles
• Experienced in management and leadership in procurement roles
• Knowledgeable in procurement processes for solar Photovoltaic (PV) equipment

General Requirements:-

• Ability to travel

• Ability to communicate across all levels of an organization

• Ability to work independently but within tightly controlled business policies

Key Skills:-

Solar PV, negotiations experience, procurement experience in the solar PV projects business, team leadership, fluency in German with a good level of spoke English.
