My client is seeking a senior procurement leader manager with a track record in equipment procurement in the solar PV projects business. They are currently looking to recruit a Logistics and Procurement Manager to coordinate a multi-megawatt project due to begin mid June. They seek an energetic, highly-organized individual with great communication skills to join their team.
Responsibilities:-
- Establish purchasing development plan, including material purchasing, price control suppliers management
- Negotiating terms and closing deals to achieve optimal cost situation
- Secure the availability of materials and services for production globally
- Lead all purchasing activities for solar Photovoltaic(PV) business
- Develop and implement strategies to reduce costs and currency exposure while assuring required capacity
- Request bids from suppliers for scope outlined by technical staff
- Perform supplier management based on standard processes and procedures to identify the best suppliers and to secure an optimized supply chain
- Ensure all correct procures are followed and all regulations are met
- Responsible for inspection and forecast of the raw material price
- Creation and realization of worldwide supplier strategies in all purchasing segments
- Supplier negotiations and contract finalizations
- Photovoltaic world market analysis including permanent analysis of raw material market
Education:-
- · Must have strong educational background
Core Requirements:-
- You will have at least 3-5 years experience, with an excellent track record
- Proven success in strategic and operation roles
- Experienced in management and leadership in procurement roles
- Knowledgeable in procurement processes for solar Photovoltaic (PV) equipment
General Requirements:-
- · Ability to communicate across all levels of an organization
- Ability to work independently but within tightly controlled business policies
Key Skills:-
