Description:
groSolar's Procurement Division Sales & Marketing Support Manager will be responsible for enhancing, developing, and implementing a customer prospecting and qualification function for the Procurement/Solar Distribution Division, maintaining the division's Web content, and assisting with pre- and post-sale customer support.
Duties:
• Identify and maintain prospect lists, status reports, and contact information. • Call and qualify customer prospect. • Coordinate initial customer meetings with outside sales managers. • Log all communications with prospects and customers in contact database. • Coordinate and maintain the division's Web content. • Coordinate, produce, and distribute the division’s online newsletter. • Support customer pre- and post-sale order inquires and order entry.
Qualifications:
Technical Requirements: • Understanding of or ability to quickly learn grid-tied solar electric products, design, installation, and sales. • Basic Web development/updating skills. • Familiarity with Drouple preferred.
Educational Requirements and Skills: • Bachelor’s Degree preferred. • Previous outbound sales and marketing experience. • Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. • Self starter. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to work and flourish in a fast paced team environment.
