Our client is a leading provider of contaminated land characterisation and assessment services to the UK nuclear industry. It is further developing and broadening its business and is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced consultant to join the team. You will be expected to make an important technical contribution to projects undertaken on behalf of customers, working with the existing team of experts, as well as developing business in this technical area and respond to customer requests. This will involve spending some time working at sites around the United Kingdom. This role requires you to have a higher degree (ideally a PhD) in a relevant geoscientific discipline. You should also have an expert knowledge of one or more of the following areas: site investigations, hydrogeology, contaminated land, radiation, and risk assessment. Several years of relevant work experience in consultancy after leaving university is essential. This is an excellent chance for anyone wishing to develop a career in this technically, and commercially challenging business.
