This project is looking for people pursuing a career in wildlife ecology and/or conservation to assist with a study aimed to test non-lethal predator-human conflict mitigation measures on farmlands that experience high livestock losses. Research assistants will assist graduate students in assessing predator behaviour, estimating prey diversity and veld (rangeland) grazing condition. Research assistants are needed from 1 March to 1 November, 2014 with a minimum commitment of 3 months (closing date: 15 February, 2014).
Research assistants receive free accommodation and on-site (study area) transport.
