Date limite de dépôt des candidatures : 15/10/2010 Mission :A two-year postdoctoral position is available to study the influence of MHC diversity on several fitness components and life history traits, including post-fledging dispersal, recruitment, juvenile dispersal, breeding dispersal, breeding success and survival in the Greater Flamingo, Phoenicopterus roseus. The research is part of an ongoing collaborative project between the University of Burgundy (Prof. Frank Cézilly) and the Tour du Valat Research Centre (Dr. Arnaud Béchet). Profil :Requirements: We are seeking talented, enthusiastic and creative young researchers with a strong commitment to interdisciplinary and collaborative research. Excellent communication skills (in English), both oral and written, are essential. Qualifications: The candidate should have a Ph.D degree in population biology or population genetics or molecular ecology. Research experience in the ecology of MHC variation or in the analysis of Capture-Mark-Recapture data is essential. Durée :A two-year postdoctoral position Complementary information :Net Salary: 1932 euros per month.
