Key Result Areas/Duties
Assess the impact of the CPRS (Carbon Pollution Reduction Scheme) on biodiversity and production at a National Scale.
Assess the implication of the CPRS on livelihoods in Northern Australia.
Assist CSIRO build its research reputation in the field of conservation planning and decision-making.
Develop innovative concepts, theories and techniques for incorporating socio-economic considerations into conservation planning in the context of a carbon economy.
Publish findings in high impact journals, present finding at both national and international conferences and participate in interdisciplinary working groups.
Contribute to a dynamic, innovative and effective research team.
Contribute to the Sustainable Agriculture Flagship, Climate Adaptation Flagship and the Biodiversity theme.
