Plant Manager (Bio-ethanol Plant), Thailand

To combat the demand for greener energy and industrial consumption, my client is setting up a bio-ethanol plant in Thailand. Bio-ethanol is a good source of renewable energy. To tap this market for pioneering renewable energy source in Thailand, my client has ambitious plans of growing this business.

Responsibilities:
- Plant Manager must plan, organize and direct the manufacturing and maintenance operations which ensure the most effective return on assets. Plant Manager must initiative plans and processes which minimize manufacturing costs through effective utilization of manpower, equipment, facilities, materials, and capital. He must assure attainment of business objectives and productions schedules while insuring product standards that will exceed customers’ expectations. 
- Plant Manager must establish group and individual accountabilities throughout assigned departments for problem solving and cost reduction, both on a permanent and ad-hoc basis, depending on need. Plant Manager must improve manpower utilization within existing departments and processes. 
- Plant Manager must continually improve safety record by addressing both physical safety issues and employee safety attitudes. Maintain and improve housekeeping in all areas. Plant Manager must manage spending against budget and in relation to changes in production volume.

Core Requirements:
- Plant Manager must have 10-15 years of experience. Plant Manager must be a local Thai. Plant Manager must have a Bachelor in Chemical Engineering or B. Sc in Bio-Chemistry.
- Plant Manager must have previously worked in Ethanol/Petrochemical/Starch/Food industry. Plant Manager must have excellent communication skills and must be able to communicate across all levels of stakeholders. Plant Manager must have some international experience.
