Job Purpose Summary

The purpose of this post is to lead and manage Peatland ACTION Programme delivery projects.

The post is one of two Delivery Managers, working together to manage the development and operation of an expanded team of NatureScot and partner funded Project Officers in the design and delivery of an accelerated and expanded programme of restoration of projects.

The post is part of the Programme Management Group and will also lead on aspects of governance and project management in the evolving/expanding Peatland ACTION Programme and the associated Scottish Government Peatland Delivery Plan.

The post covers the whole of Scotland and will require the ability to travel independently, as public transport is not always available and sites are remote. On occasions, this will require travel that necessitates nights away from home.
