Job Title: Outreach Event Manager

Summary: Identify, maintain and assign temporary pool of event associates to conduct NSL outreach events. Attend outreach events and identify prospects for Next Step Living and its services through promotion to target populations by performing the following duties. Oversee marketing material needs for the Outreach team and re-order supplies on an as needed basis.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Locate, on-board and assign temporary pool of event associates to ensure they are prepared to conduct NSL events.
- Partner with accounts payable to ensure temporary event associates’ prospects are tagged appropriately in Salesforce, and they are paid accordingly
- Learn and take ownership of the marketing materials for the Outreach team
- Promote NSL activities and services and distribute educational materials to the community through various forms of face-to-face interaction
- Collect contact information from residents interested in receiving NSL Home Energy Assessment at planned events or through street interactions in target communities
- Meet daily, weekly and monthly targets for prospects collected
- Work with Outreach team members to refine messaging and strategy for maximum success of prospect collection
- Enter collected contact information into Next Step Living customer relationship management software system
- Frequent travel required to Next Step Living’s partner events (predominantly in the metro Boston area)
- Event attendance on nights and weekends required
- May assist Customer Service Team when needed

- Education/Experience:
- A High School Diploma; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Language Ability:

- Reasoning Ability:
- Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form

- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software; and Spreadsheet software;
- Work Environment:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to wet or humid conditions, outdoor weather conditions
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
- Physical Demands:
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
