To promote a greater awareness of wild birds and biodiversity and the need for their conservation among young people, through the educational curriculum at all levels. To teach in, through and for the environment, out-of-doors. To educate for wildlife conservation as well as teaching about the environment through objective-led, activity-based, site-specific and high quality field teaching.

Qualified primary teacher preferred but not essential. If not a qualified teacher, then require a high standard of education preferably to degree level or with a vocational qualification in an environment-related subject and experience of working with children and young people.

Salary

£10.85 per hour, limited to 1000 hours.
