Description

My client is a residential installer of solar PV systems in the UK. They are rapidly expanding and are currently looking at ensure their market growth within the developing Solar PV industry. My client is installing between 200-500 system per month and require key team members to ensure that the standards and quality of the company are maintained.

Position Overview:

To oversee and implement of residential panel installation programme in conjunction with the chosen sub contractor along with managing the sales team in the company. You will report directly to the Managing Director and have opportunities for position growth prospects.

Responsibilities:

  • You will manage the sales team based in London ensuring they meet personal and company targets
  • You will establish a sales training schedule and strategy that will ensure that the sales team is performing to the highest level
  • Establish linkage with my client and the sub contractor to ensure all installation and operational issues/ customer complaints are dealt with on a timely basis
  • ·         To manage the maintenance and repair programme and planned Inverter replacement programme
  • To monitor the performance of sub contractors as compared with the SLA Benchmarks.

  • To set up payment procedures to ensure the timely payment of agreed and correctly documented installations.
  • ·         Manage a rapidly expanding team and report directly to the Managing director in the management of a network of local installers
  • You will carry out the initial training and following through with the technical quality and customer service standards
  • You will work closely with subcontractors and develop loyalty to the client within the network of installers
  • Negotiate and evaluate bid packages and sub-contract agreements

Education:

Strong educational background in Engineering (MSc preferred)

Core Requirements:

  • ·         4-5 years of experience in a managerial role with a strong background in the technical side of building and electrical systems
  • 1-2 years sales experience
  • ·         A proven track record within the solar PV sector
  • Ability to analyze and solve complex problems and detect realistic solutions
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • You will have the technical qualifications required by UK law

General Requirements:

  • ·         UK drivers license
  • Ability to communicate across all levels of an organization
  • Ability to work under deadline pressure and deliver high quality results
  • Excellent presentation
  • Ability to travel with the UK

Key skills:
