My client works internationally on wind farm developments, working closely with a number of the major players in the wind sector. They currently have a large pipeline of projects that they require wind energy specialist for. They are involved in securing, development and construction of wind farms across Europe and has the experience and technical knowledge that makes them a highly regarded specialist in the field.

Position Overview:

My client requires a operations analyst/technician for wind energy projects across Europe. You will work as part of a growing team of technical experts who all have a strong background in the renewable energy market. As part of this team you will provide expert data analysis when re

Responsibilities:

• ·         The role will require working with teams on the wind farm sites and utilising your skills in analysis of wind farms
• ·         Your data collection and analysis will ultimately result in the high level of performance of the wind farm
• ·         You will gain expertise in the utilisation of data and modelling
• ·         By working with a European developer of wind farms you will gain market awareness and European exposure which will result in further development of key skills within the onshore wind energy sector
• ·         You will work with senior management discussing and analysing results having an impact in the decisions made on individual projects and the development process of wind projects throughout the company.

Education:

Engineering or science degree, preferably Maths or Electrical Engineering

Core Requirements:

• ·         A strong background working in the onshore wind market and a passion to see it grow
• ·         Experience working with and liaising and a variety of clients and investors involved in the projects
• ·         Excellent skills working in an Operations Analyst/Technician position within the renewable energy sector
• ·         Strong level of ambition in a desire to progress within a role
• ·         A strong technical background in the wind energy sector and a desire to advance this skill set

General requirements

• ·         Will have 2-3 years experience in the onshore energy market
• ·         Excellent communication, written and presentation skills
• ·         Fluent in English (written and verbal)
• ·         The ability to travel across Europe
• ·         A keen interest in the  wind market and a desire to see it progress and be part of its development in the Europe

Key Skills: Analytical and technical skills within the wind farm sector and excellent report writing and presentation skills
