Offshore Wind Turbine Technician, UK (12 month contract)

My client is a leading provider of skilled technicians to the offshore renewable energy industry

Position Overview:

The successful candidates will be responsible for the mechanical and electrical instillation of Siemens offshore turbines.

Responsibilities:-

• ·        Working on a 2 week offshore, 2 week onshore rota
• ·        Providing mechanical and electrical support in the instillation of offshore wind turbines
• ·        Troubleshooting of wind turbines
• ·        Ensuring that work is completed in accordance to industry legislative standards

Core Requirements:-

• ·        Strong mechanical and / or electrical background
• ·        Previous offshore instillation experience
• ·        Ability to work on a 2 week on, 2 week offshore rota
• ·        Siemens Level 3 wind turbine technician qualification. (this qualification can be offset by extensive working experience

General Requirements:-

• ·        Offshore Survival certificate
• ·        CCNSG
• ·        1^st aid certificate
• ·        Offshore medical certificate (desirable but not essential)
• ·        Recue at heights certificate (desirable but not essential)
