Offshore Superintendent, North Sea

My Client is one of the leading power cable instillation contractors in Europe specializing in the instillation of offshore renewable energy projects.

 Position Overview:

The successful candidate will be reporting to the Project Manager and will be responsible for managing daily cable laying operations on board the instillation vessel. It will be your responsibility to ensure that work is carried out in accordance to company requirements and is completed in time.

 Responsibilities:-

• Supervising the cable laying operations
• Coordinate daily activities on board the vessel during the execution phase
• Working with the Project Manager to review instillation procedures
• Responsible for ensuring that work is carried out in accordance to HSEQ requirements
• Provide the Project Manager with daily progress report

Education:-

Educated to degree level in a relevant engineering discipline

Core Requirements:-

• A minimum of 2 years experience within the offshore construction industry
• Technical experience in the instillation of subsea cables
• In depth understanding of offshore HSEQ requirements
• Previous experience in coordinating offshore operations
