Offshore Constructions Manager

They require an experienced construction manager who has overseen multiple offshore wind projects with a proven track record the international wind market. You will report directly into the global offshore director general Offshore Constructions Manager, Germany. EU135k-EU145k + Bonus

My client is in market leader in the international wind industry, they have developed, manufactured and produced some of the most widely used turbines in the market. As the major player in the onshore wind market my client is a wind company that can offer exciting opportunities in the wind sector and plan to match this level in the Offshore market. They have manufactured and installed a large number of the wind developments and are a strong customer focused company who aims to work at the highest level and ensure that their company name remains a recognised brand in the wind sector.

Position Overview: 
My client is looking for an experienced offshore construction manager to play an integral role in the new offshore business. They require an experienced construction manager who has overseen multiple offshore wind projects with a proven track record the international wind market. You will report directly into the global offshore director general.

Responsibilities:-
- Manage the offshore construction and projects team across Europe
- Ensuring site standards are established and observed
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly progression reports
- Manage all sub contractors 
- Overseeing the control and quality of the works 
- Maintaining the construction budget

Education:-
Must have a strong academic engineering background, bachelors required

Core Requirements:-
- Strong communicator and fluent in English
- Experience working on a minimum of 2 offshore wind projects in either a construction manager, site manager or project manager role
- A minimum of 5 years heavy industrial construction experience
- 3+ years experience within the wind department
- Strong management and leadership skills

General Requirements:-
- A good understanding of the renewable industry
- Ability to produce professional high quality reports
- Work well under pressure and towards targets
- Cooperative and friendly work attitude with partners, company and colleagues
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent problem solving skills

Key skills:
Heavy industrial construction experience, offshore wind farm experience, construction management, site manager and project management.
