The Ecology Action Centre, established in 1971, is Nova Scotia's largest and most active environmental organization. We are seeking a full-time Office Coordinator, a role that is central to the effective functioning of the Ecology Action Centre. The position is a 30-hour-per-week permanent position reporting to the Internal Director and working closely with the core staff team and the Fundraising Committee. If you are a detail-oriented person with a way with computers and a passion for working in a collaborative, non-profit environment, we’d love to meet you! In addition to supporting the overall functioning of the Ecology Action Centre and other duties as required, the Office Coordinator has three primary areas of responsibility: Office Support, such as:

Terms: Permanent full-time (30 hours per week) at $17/hour, beginning mid to late August. Benefits plan and 4 weeks paid vacation. Hours: Monday to Friday from 10am to 5pm (some room for negotiation). Some evening/weekend work will be required.
