Description
A passionate and well-organised person is being sought to lead a 24-hour nest protection project for hen harriers. The role includes liaising with partners and wider stakeholders; monitoring of hen harrier activity and collation of information; training and supervising volunteers and staff; media engagement; ensuring health & safety measures are adhered to. Experience of fieldwork and working with volunteers is essential. You will need a clean driving licence and use of own car. This post is initially part time for one month starting in February, becoming full time in March until the end of June if birds settle.
