About Us: The Zoological Society of London (ZSL), a charity founded in 1826, is a world-renowned centre of excellence for conservation science and applied conservation. ZSL’s mission is to promote and achieve the worldwide conservation of animals and their habitats. This is realised by carrying out field conservation and research in over 50 countries across the globe and through education and awareness-raising at our two zoos, ZSL London Zoo and ZSL Whipsnade Zoo, inspiring people to take conservation action.
Overview of role: To be responsible for collecting, managing and feed-back of Monitoring and Evaluation data in relation to Net-Works and CoMSCAs implemented by ZSL-Philippines and feed into the global ZSL database. The post holder is responsible for working closely and communicating effectively with the Project Managers and Community Organisers across ZSL-Philippines to ensure appropriate monitoring methods are being implemented to an adequate standard. Data collected will feed into a global ZSL database for Net-Works and CoMSCAs/VSLAs. The post holder will work with the UK-based Conservation for Communities Coordinator globally to apply and help improve globally standardised methods and processes for ZSL, and ensure the high quality of resulting data in order to feed back into management and help improve practices.
