My client is one of the leading PV installers in the world with an impressive global network and an internationally respected reputation. They are currently in a rapid expansion faze within their company and are looking to appoint key positions across all levels of the organisation in particular within the UK.
Position Overview: My client is looking to recruit a national sales manager to oversee their sales operations across the UK. The national sales manager will be responsible for driving sales in the UK PV market.
Responsibilities:-
- · This position will involve travelling within the UK in order to attract new business for the renewable energy company
- · You will use your strong sales skills and technical training to explain the key components of the product
- · You will be required to developed relationships with new clients, negotiate and carry through the business process with key clients
- · Pay visits to our clients on a monthly or even 2-week bases
- · Conduct intensive follow up and meetings with new clients
- · Establish good relationships with customers as to enhance customer loyalty
- · Develop and implement strategic sales plans, forecasts and performance goals to achieve corporate objectives for products and services
- · Conduct trainings and sales events in order to develop your team
- · Lead business development activities
- · Cooperate with marketing to build the brand image and have your say about the direction of the marketing within the company
- · Will be expected to proactively source new clientele and generate new revenue streams
- · You will be largely involved in the closing of deals that you are working with
Education:-
Must have strong educational background (engineering, economics or business background)
Core Requirements:-
- You will have at least 3-5 years of sales experience, with a track recording in driving sales
- You will have at least 1-3 years renewabale energy sales experience, with a track record in selling solar products (wafer, ingots, modules and/or inveters)
- · Ability to work under deadline pressure and deliver high quality results
- · Proven ability to communicate across all levels of an organization
General Requirements:-
- · Proficient with making impactful presentations and communication skills
- · Ability to manage multiple projects in an environment of constantly changing priorities
- Ability to work independently but within tightly controlled business policies
Key Skills:-
Solar PV, negotiations experience, sales experience, solar product (wafers, ingots, modules and/or inveters) and sales experience
