Status: Volunteer (unpaid)
Commitment: 1 day per week, 3-6 month contract.
Overall purpose of the position
The Multimedia (Production) Volunteer will support the production of videos at Greenpeace Australia Pacific, specifically the production of two new regular series for YouTube, which primarily involves a combination of research, shooting and editing.

What you will be up to in this role:
- Basic video and photo editing
- Sorting, categorising and uploading material to the Media Library
- Assisting in the production of multimedia
- Manage raw multimedia materials
- Help spot opportunities for reactive content and pitch new ideas.
Some of the skills and experience we are looking for in you:
- Experience in video production and photography
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- An understanding of Greenpeace’s activities, the importance of storytelling and communications to Greenpeace’s aims
- Commitment, professionalism and achievement orientation.

Specific work environment:
- Primarily based at Greenpeace Australia Pacific’s offices in Ultimo
- Occasional shoots offsite
- Ideally able to be in the office a minimum of 20 hours a month, especially the last Thursday and Friday of each month.
