Actively participate in the daily operational work linked to the trading activities
Share knowledge and educate colleagues through briefings and informal discussions and case studies
Be responsible for the meteorological information communicated in our information channels, such as market reports and intranet
Play an active role in developing and maintaining tools, methods, systems and applications for meteorological information and data
Develop, maintain and create useful and high qualitative meteorological products and services to our internal costumers
Work pro-actively and communicate information, forecasts, and interpretations to energy traders, production planners and analyst or other internal costumers
Be a meteorological knowledge base and educate colleagues through presentations and informal discussions
On request provide special request and ad-hoc questions, case studies and solution
Be part of the Meteorological Group and Market Analysis Team
Qualifications
Well skilled and experienced meteorologist shearing and are good in communicating information and results
Forecaster, Masters or doctorate (Ph.D.) degree in meteorology, geophysics or mathematics
English and other languages are of additional advantage
Experience with numerical analysis and meteorological operational forecasting
Understanding of hydrology and be able to understand hydropower related meteorological products and services
Understanding and knowledge of statistics
Knowledge of databases and geographical information systems is an advantage
Some familiarity or experience from the Nordic power marked is advantageous
