Measuring the Socio-Economic Impacts of Two Hotels in Croatia
We are initiating a pilot project to support the sustainable growth of tourism in Croatia, focusing on understanding the current situation in relation to local socio-economic impacts and the development and implementation of interventions that optimise positive impacts and minimise negative ones.
The Travel Foundation is inviting tenders from consultants for the delivery of the first phase of this project: collecting baseline data and making recommendations for interventions. The consultant(s) would be expected to have significant experience of designing and applying impact assessment tools in tourism destinations, as well as experience of designing interventions to enhance the positive benefits of tourism.
Further details can be found on the invitation to tender (link above). The deadline for tender documents is 11pm GMT on Monday 3rd August 2015. We expect work to begin in mid-August 2015, as soon as contracts have been signed.
