We seek a Marketing Coordinator to support the Be Out There movement, to return to children what they don't even know they've lost: connection to the natural world. Studies show daily time outdoors provides not only the simple joys found in nature, but also improves children’s physical, mental and emotional health, boosts classroom performance and encourages environmental stewardship.
The Marketing Coordinator position includes coordination of specific projects and supporting overall promotional programs for all campaigns under the Be Out There umbrella. Activities include website maintenance, social media, email campaigns, advertising, researching market trends, maintaining a calendar of events, and supporting the Ranger Rick Geocache Trails program. Key measures of success include increasing website visitors, building a strong online community via social media, growing the number of Be Out There e-newsletter subscribers, and meeting project deadlines. The Marketing Coordinator will help maintain an accurate budget, track results of marketing campaigns, and provide support in achieving goals of revenue, reach and engagement. This role will directly support the Be Out There Marketing Manager and includes a mix of self-directed work in addition to collaborative projects with the Corporate Relations and Special Events team, Web, Communications, Education, Marketing, Regional Offices and external groups supporting the Be Out There movement.
