The Candidate

Working as part of the Wind Direct sales and marketing team, you will report to the company’s Head of Marketing, taking responsibility for delivering leads to the sales team via a planned programme of marketing activities including:
• Proactive site finding
• Arranging and organising events/seminars
• Organising company attendance at exhibitions
• Circulation of press releases
• Executing electronic direct mail campaigns
• Updating website
• Investigating and reporting on the potential for social networking
• Writing for newsletter and website
• Providing occasional support to the Wind Prospect Group as and when required
• Any other duties as may reasonably be expected

 

The above duties will therefore be applicable to the requirements of this new business, particularly as activity increases. This is a tremendous opportunity to play a role within an embryonic business in a fast expanding market.

 

The ideal candidate will have the following skills/qualifications:
• 3+ years experience in marketing with a business related qualification
• Determined approach with a desire to succeed
• Close attention to detail
• Excellent communication and writing skills
• Professional manner and confident over the telephone
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently
• Able to work under pressure
• Ability to negotiate and influence
• A creative approach
• Desire to get involved and ‘own’ tasks
• High level of competency in Microsoft Office suite (including PowerPoint)
• Full Driving Licence
• Willing to travel to other offices occasionally

 

The following skills are desirable but not essential
• CIM membership
• CIM qualification
• Experience of the energy sector in general

The Salary

The Salary will be c.25k (FTE) + benefits

22.5 - 30 hours per week
