As a Marketing Analyst, you will analyze data in order to make good business decisions, making SunRun’s marketing programs more impactful. This is a highly visible and critical role since the candidate will be required to support and work with senior members of the company to make SunRun’s marketing more effective and scalable. The successful candidate will possess the right balance of strategic thinking and analytical abilities and be able to enthusiastically apply these traits to increasing the productivity and performance of SunRun’s website and marketing programs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop metrics and analyses to serve as key inputs in marketing planning and decision making. Translate data into meaningful observations and business recommendations.
  • Pull the data for marketing analyses, design reporting infrastructure and an executive dashboard for SunRun’s marketing programs and website.
  • Recommend, implement and manage key website analytic tools and user testing tools.
  • Improve the SunRun consumer website (www.sunrunhome.com) by managing it to key performance goals.
  • For SunRun’s website, develop customer segmentation models, prioritize them, and recommend content and contact strategies for each.
  • Recommend, conduct and report on consumer research for SunRun’s marketing team.
  • Use data to help optimize SunRun’s lead generation programs.
  • Develop a forecasting methodology to accurately predict future leads and communicate expectations to SunRun’s marketing and sales teams. Generate weekly forecast and metric reports & provide analysis for Marketing Management.
  • Perform general residential solar market analyses and track and present competitive data.
  • Assist in all facets of marketing planning, inclusive of regular updates to quotas, headcount and consumer demand plan

Qualifications

  • BS in science, engineering, business, economics or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of work experience in a role that required both quantitative abilities and strategic thinking.
  • Detail-oriented and a believer in the value of process
  • Experience in performing data analysis in MS Excel (pivot tables, macros, etc.), uncovering trends in data, and clearly articulating ideas through MS PowerPoint presentations.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com is preferred, ability and desire to quickly adopt tool and become a highly-proficient and passionate user is a must
  • Ability to successfully communicate with all levels in the organization
  • Experience with web analytics tools preferred, including google analytics, lyris, and omniture.
