The Australian Regional Instrument Centre is a recognised world leader in the metrology of environmental monitoring instruments. The Centre is a component of the Bureau of Meteorology located at 700 Collins Street Docklands Melbourne. We are seeking a scientist to join our team and use their technical expertise to assist the Bureau in evaluation and development of new systems and instruments for the Bureau's marine network. They will also be responsible for the development and updating of work procedures and field documentation associated with this network. We are interested in hearing from people that have experience in these areas or have the potential to be trained by the Bureau. You will have a science degree with an appropriate level of professional technical expertise and experience. The successful candidate will have an eye for detail, possess good communication and highly developed analytical skills. Some interstate travel may be required.
