The Marine Dive Safety Officer will develop and implement an institution-wide dive safety program to cover CI program and scientific divers. The Safety Officer will develop policies and procedures to minimize risk to divers; will develop training materials and provide training, oversee equipment safety, and will monitor for compliance. Reporting to the Senior Vice President and Chief Scientist for Oceans, this position will also establish and manage a cross institutional dive safety board comprised of CI staff and partners.
